Love and Watson

This collection of works is inspired by my cousins Kris and Kendric. The“Love and Watson” series was created to capture the precious moments of their childhood through oil, watercolors, and acrylic paints. The goal of this collection is to display Black children doing ordinary things without the social stigma of being women of color added to their stories. Ordinary moments of sisterhood are captured through traditional painting, collage, and fantasy-like elements.
